@sidecrank - Many of our member agencies have been working in the Occupied Palestinian Territories for years. In 2009 the DEC ran an appeal for Gaza after the already grim humanitarian situation there deteriorated significantly - details on our website under DEC Story/Gaza Crisis.

The crisis in gaza is DIRE, but nothing compared to this. 14 million people affected. Gaza, isnt currently flooded.

Gaza requires a political solution.

The dec has helped in gaza. And the problem in gaza hasnt been going on for "60 odd years".

It only started when the people of gaza democratically elected hamas.

What have you got against Pakistan that you can't donate? And if it's hate, because you're ignorant, racist, or Islamophobic, then you're obviously a very knowledge deprived, ignorant bigot, who, once again, is in the MINORITY.

@oclandestin I ment no disrespect to Dec,they do a wonderful job, need I comment further on the obviously terrible suffering in Pakistan,1500dead? My reason in mentioning Gaza was to show the differance in news coverage to some thing that has no detriment to the terrorist state of Israel and some thing that does. I don't fight,just like truth. May be we should stop the high jacking of this site,for that I appologise.

@sidecrank ... Gaza and Zionism have nothing to do with this video. It sounds like you just want to pick a fight with someone. If you have an issue with the BBC or Sky why don't you contact them. The BBC should have broadcasted the DEC appeal for Gaza, but that's another issue.

Since your first comment here, you mentioned nothing of the horrendous suffering in Pakistan, instead accusing DEC of not making appeals for Palestine. You then imply it isn't a serious enough disaster by saying "Terrible that it is ,it is a natural disaster,unlike the terror brought on the world...". Your comments are insulting to both the DEC and those suffering in Pakistan.

@oclandestin You read things that are not there. Forgive me but I assumed you are connected with the media. How do you feel about the scant coverage of the Gaza holocaust?. I believe that Sky and the BBC refused to broadcast the Dec appeal? Do you think that was because of Zionist pressure?
