Hate those holes that don't wanna let go of ya till ya wet exit and still wanna keep the boat. Still never really got a good boof tech. I stiill mosty pick the line and paddle hard and fast with a little angle for that last strong pull before droppin the lip. I see some people really lean and get that paddle under the bow (to avoid that pull sideways).. Just aint got it down yet.

Reed Creek enters the canal on river right just below Savannah Rapids Pavilion. It's just past the footbridge over the canal, a couple hundred yards below the headgates. To put in, normally you just hike up the river left side of Reed Creek, but it's all under construction right now (2010) not sure how the access is. Have you run Stevens Creek near Modoc, SC?

Hey. I live in Augusta and I do a little whitewater kayaking myself. How do you get to that part of Reed Creek where you guys were at? Looks pretty nice.
its a short run, probably a little over a quarter mile but its all Augusta GA has to offer on a rainy day. Stevens creek gets pumping also and is a few miles of non stop fun.

@mtnbiker267 Clarks Hill Lake near Hartwell Dam. Left side of the lake if your facing in the direction of the dam.
