  • @riebeekkasteel The apartheid government certainly did not uplift Africans. There have been problems in South Africa since freedom, but I am not convinced that things are really any worse materially...certainly not spiritually.

  • Why is it that the Apartheid government could do so much more to uplift Africans than the African leaders and UN combined could do ....!!!

  • The US had economic problems in 1947, among other distractions. We carried out the Marshall Plan anyway. It's a matter of political will. It may be impossible for Bush to do even if he were to decide to. Hopefully the next president will.

  • Inspiring video, but so often we are distracted by the many other problems. For example, how can any american think of saving poor kids in africa now, when all their country is concerned about is what to do about e US economy? Nevertheless, we must have faith. Good video.

  • Annan's failure to act in Rwanda and Darfur raise question marks as to his legacy.
