The Flying Change - Singer/Songwriter - June 29th, 2010

One year after the release of "Pain Is A Reliable Signal", their critically acclaimed debut, The Flying Change takes a break from recording their full-length follow-up to present a new two-song dance-inspired EP titled Singer/Songwriter".

A two-song meditation on escapism. With a tongue-in-check sensibility and playfulness, they tackle the conflict between what is real and what might have been, the tension between the corporate professional world of stability and the romantic illusion of artistic freedom. The songs are about ideas and preconceptions. The songs are about fantasy. And theyre about stealing cars and the children that go with them.

Produced, engineered, mixed and partially sung by Nancy Hess. Conceived, written and mostly sung by Sam Jacobs.
