His artistic work brought him recognition across the entire continent. However, the Kenyan artist, who designed the flag of the Organization of African Unity, now African Union, has nothing to show for it. Reuben Mudasia artwork beat more than 1,000 contestants, before being chosen as a central symbol of African Unity.

  • true he may have missed out on the scholarship but 7,000 dollars in 1970, that was huge not even footballers were being paid that amount of money. He should have told us what he did with the money.

  • Sorry for missing out on the scholarship. But my assumption is that 7,000 dollars in 1970 must have been a huge amount of money to invest with. How did he use the cash?
