And science is the study of nature. There is no conflict between science and God. I don't know about the Christians, but ask the Muslims: the Qur'an describes scientific method and encourages scientific study of one's surroundings. So, if it is a book dedicated to God, would it encourage ideas that are against God?

Also, as I said, your joke is severely out of place. That was my main concern.

P.S. if God hadn't existed, then explain how all the normally lifeless substances in Mendeleev's periodic table of elements bound together in living cells. There is no explanation except God, otherwise, with all our science, we would have also been able to give life.
