Hōkūle'a: Nainoa Thompson at the Moloka'i Sust'ĀINAbility Conference

The people of Moloka'i kindly invited Nainoa Thompson and the Hōkūle'a crew to be a part of their Sust'ĀINAbility Conference. A true honor, Nainoa and the crew applaud Molokai's efforts to once again become a self-sustaining land. Hōkūle'a crewmembers are training for the Hōkūle'a Wolrdwide Voyage in which the traditional Hawaiian canoe will circumnavigate the Earth using ancient Polynesian navigation techniques. The crew carry with them the idea that we are all crew members on Canoe Earth and, just as on Hōkūle'a, we need to care for one another an our resources.
