nice find. ive collected old motor garage manuels for a while. i have about 18 so far, from 1952-1972... and a few specialty books for the 50s and 60s....love the caddy moter too...i have a 71 deville sedan with a 472 hi-comp...

I love how the old Chevy Engines haven't changed much over the years either.. The next-door neighbor gave me some old 4-bolt sheetmetal "hugger orange" rocker covers with 327cid stickers on them and they bolt right up to the 86' ported 305 Engine I'm using.. So does the 50's shortie water pump and pulleys.. -Rob

Yea, that small block Chevy's been pretty constant since the 1955 "265 ci" engine came out. I love 'em. Feel like I can take one apart and put it back together in my sleep..
