Seems to be stretching for desperate identity, in a current scene like this such is very difficult. Not too fond of this experiment myself and I don't think it works with here, but it is commendable that they would try it.

Sounds really good. IMO, the trumpets are more of a gimmick than anything else but these days you need a gimmick.

This is one of the most interesting black metal albums i hard last year. Some albums are good and some not so good, but even among the good ones, it's not all of them that make you feel that there's some real meaning and intent in and behind the music.
