This video was made for the family and was given to the family first. I have decided to post it NOW because the family has seen it first. These are their pictures in which it was made with. Also so the extended SMITh family from other cities and states can see it and to REMEMBER this man FOREVER!! This Officer was a friend to many Bastrop Louisiana people as well as surrounding areas like Monroe and West Monroe Lousiana. He is a HERO but at the same time he was a regular officer that was doing what any officer would do. Northeast Louisiana lost a friend, a co worker, a father, a son, a brother, a husband and a good dad. This video was an honor to make for the Smith family and now that they have it and seen it. I want to keep it for the town of Bastrop Louisiana to remember FOREVER!

    JOHN

I WILL NEVER SHED A TEAR FOR YOU.

BUT I WILL ALWAYS REMEMBER YOU WITH A SMILE IN MY HEART!

  • John was my friend from the age of 13. I always called him John John. At school he was the shy one & I was the one that couldn't stop talking. Guess thats what made us friends, "I had too much to say & he didn't want to say a word". John was sweet & cheerful, and always expressed love for his family , freinds,& town.

He will always live through those who remember him with a smile. So, never far away, but always close to our hearts is where he will be.

Hate killed him, but his love will stay

  • Thanks for doing something nice for the family.

I've posted tributes to fallen officer on GShotsTV and on my GShotsTV website.

  • this was my brother when you lose a love one lets see it you feel the same hate in your heart!!

  • J.R.

  • RIP, Brother
