That would be 37 'Vettes, not 36---but it would be interesting to know who won, and for that matter, how people entered. Can you imagine winning a Corvette? That would be amazing!

VH1 had some kinda contest where somoene could win several corvettes. I remember watching it back in the day. i think thats why they had the logo in the video.

The license plates on the cars read "V H 1"!! Funny thing is that V H 1 was the MOR/easy-listening/adult alternative to the youth-oriented M T V. It's like V H 1 sponsored the video only to play it endlessly that Summer. Very strange.

The song has some nice guitar sounds. And could have been a lot more embarrassing.

This song is not half bad for some of the "Mike Love-ish" late material...(I actually find myself diggin' this song ...amazingly)....

and god bless Carl Wilson...but this is not the real Beach Boys...they died with SMiLE in 67....*tear* I'm off to listen to Cabinessence...

I was just telling my friend about this video and contest the other day, hard to believe it's been 20 years, shes not even 20 yet. I use to see this vid on VH 1 all the time, I never did know who the winner was, maybe I could do an internet search.
