@Helen25243 : try to find the Still Cruisin' album or the Lethal Weapon 2 soundtrack album. Both are out of print, but you should be ableto find a copy on Ebay. O, and it's also on the California Gold 2CD comp (1990, also OOP)

I remember this song , the video and that a guy won all 36 ' vettes from the contest from 1989 . This is one of my all - time fave car songs by the group and it shows everybody with Carl , Brian , Al , Bruce & Mike . I was only 19 when this song came out but I still love it today @ 40 ! great song , just too bad they didn't release it on a full album of new songs . Tim , 7.4.11

I wonder if Mike knows how big of a creep he looked like lookin at all those girls like he was who were YOUNGER than some of his own kids. Eeek. Either way I like this song (I hate to say) because Carl's voice, as always, takes it to another level.

Carl saved Brian's like by making Brian return to therapy with Landy in the 1980s. Brian was hugely overweight and unwell at that time. But Landy was corrupt and it was Carl who helped Brian to eventually escape from Landy. Even though the brothers found it difficult to communicate with each other, Brian would have died without Carl's help.
