It not the abusers fault we keep finding abusive people to hang with. Then find a way to rebuild your life, new friends, and new healthy habits and relationships.

Aka clean out your closet. I had friends who sadly became heavy users, they wanted me to start using too. I almost did but then I thought about it, and I kicked them out of my life. As a teen I drank and got typsy but not drunk, however I wanted to be I didn't want to feel. Then I thought about my father who drank my whole life and won't stop. I then stopped drinking and walked away. I promised myself I'll never be like my father and I will never put my kids through what he has done to me.
