@flutterbysmom he wasn't from Sequim though, he liked the area and gave them the land for the marina. I know a Sequim resident won the gold medal at the Olympics in the 80's for shooting...maybe he's the local celebrity?

I listen to you both most Fridays when I am home. Just heard you playing “You Belong in Sequim” and thought that you would like to know that I was recently in Toronto and heard “You Belong in Sequim” when shopping in a Home Depot store. I’ll bet that I was the only one in the store that knew where Sequim is, made me feel like I was at home.

The words had to be modified this year because our rival PA (Port Angeles) had a 6-0 football season until they played us. So when Rachel sings it live these days she sings "but PA football we'll beat you again, and beat them we did 41-0!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to everyone for making this song so popular and to KSQM for playing it on your station, making it your #1 requested song!
