Lyrics by Maxwell Anderson, music by Kurt Weill. Live in Stadsteatern, Norrköping, Sweden, December 20, 1979. With Norrköping Symphony Orch., conducted by Okku Kamu. A studio version of this song is released on "Fairytales" (Odin Records, 1982). It is also on the Radka Toneff compilation album "Some Time Ago - A Collection of Her Finest Moments" (2003). This video is a bonus on the album "Butterfly" (Curling Legs, 2008), together with a video of "Ballad of the Sad Young Men". Buy it, and all the other Radka Toneff records!

Radka Toneff was born in 1952 in Oslo, Norway, of Bulgarian father (folk singer) and Norwegian mother. She is Norway's greatest jazz singer to this day, and her album "Fairytales" (1982) is Norway's best selling jazz record. She died in 1982.
