You sound very nasally (sp?). To prevent this, breathe 90/10. 90% through your nose then 10% through your mouth. It's like breathing all through your nose and then a little catch breath right before you sing. This also helps with pitch.

i agree..your not breathing through your diaphram which is REALLY important..when your singing put your hand on your belly and see if your belly is going up and down and ya..
