song made with dance ejay 7.... voice: airstreet, own mellow (love come home rmx), own bass, own Kicks etc. please rate and comment and please check out my other tracks =)
Lastly, Ejay is meant for people who want to make quick backing tracks for things like blog videos or whatever when they have no way of getting any other custom music, much like Garageband. It is in no way possible to make a song that is commercially usable, a record label would most likely laugh in your face if you sent it off for them to sign.
Sorry for this long bitching explanation, but it just gets on my nerves when from a 'noobs' point of view this is pro software, when it clearly isnt.
Also, only 4 effects, no phaser, no distortion, no bitcrush, no compressor, no gate/limiter, and the only support for individual filters is through the EQ that comes with it, and again, these don't even compare to external plugins that most producers rely on, which Ejay has no support for.
Aswell as the fact that it still encourages a drag and drop method of 'creating' music.
No really it isn't professional at all. I've just read through the specifications and watched some videos of it.
It only has 4 (very) basic virtual instruments, no slicer, no soundfont player, no emulations, no vintage gear and I doubt the synthesizers included have the power of the various million external VSTi plugins that most true producers will rely on.
Lol. In old ejays... yes. I used (just for playing) and old ejay some years ago.. and it was drag and drop sounds already created.
Now I got Ejay 7 for curiosity, an dyou can actually make the sounds. No more drag and drop (at all) . Making our own beats, own melodies... I was surprised, I just wanted to play like old ejays LOL
If you got ejay 7, you surelly know that you can make everything... no drag and drop at all.
But I'm not a DJ xD I was just curious and found this too professional
No, you really can't. All you can do is drag and drop loops. If you opened up a real studio software, you would be lost with what to do, because it is MUCH more complicated then that. The producer community generaly looks down on using Ejay, coz you get people like this, thinking they're pro because they rearranged a few loops.
