Beautiful.... I usually don't like LOTR fanvids w/modern music, but this is AMAZING. The lyrics/footage matchup was superb! It's like you're hearing the part of Éowyn who's still a lonely, unloved, powerless girl shriek her rage against the unfairness of life. How could someone so PERFECT and UNDERSTANDING come and save her from grief's oblivion--- and then be in love with another who isn't even HUMAN? How can Éowyn compete with THAT?!?!

This is high praise from a devoted Arwen fan such as I.

I feel sorry for Eowyn but Aragon never loves her,he did care for her but his heart belongs to Arwen! And EOWYN has found her happines with Faramir!

It was very difficult to Aragorn as well. Arwen was the love of his life but she had to leave to the West, yet he couldn't deny her because of Eowyn. I do believe he would have end up with Eowyn if he would have been 100% sure the chance of meating Arwen again was no more. It's good they both found love in the end though.

This modern song actually does fit with this LOTR video in a way. I felt so bad for Eowyn in the movies. Aragorn should have told her early on that his heart was still with Arwen so Eowyn wouldn't get her hopes up. And why Aragorn loved Arwen instead of Eowyn I'll never know.

My Utopian LOTR is the world of the first draft, where Arwen did not exist. Eowyn gets to be with the awesome that is Faramir; Aragorn should get someone nice too. Not someone who contemplates fleeing when she realizes the MORTALITY equals DEATH. urgh.
