Aragorn/Éowyn - Unrequited Love

Éowyn is hot. WHY did he reject her? Is he against threesomes or something?? Come on!!

This video and song is really good because originally Tolkien made Eowyn to marry Aragorn, but as he wrote it, she took a different path.

I feel sorry for Eowyn but Aragon never loves her,he did care for her but his heart belongs to Arwen! And EOWYN has found her happines with Faramir!

I have recently experienced this same type of heartbreaking love story. Having a love like no other love that is so true and meant to be, yet never can...Love and life are both so very beautiful, but can be so unfair. This was very well put together. Beautiful.... I usually don't like LOTR fanvids w/modern music, but this is AMAZING. The lyrics/footage matchup was superb! It's like you're hearing the part of Éowyn who's still a lonely, unloved, powerless girl shriek her rage against the unfairness of life. How could someone so PERFECT and UNDERSTANDING come and save her from grief's oblivion--- and then be in love with another who isn't even HUMAN? How can Éowyn compete with THAT?!?!

This is high praise from a devoted Arwen fan such as I.

Like when you can't date. Everyone is off-limits, yet somehow you fall in love and can't act on it. That's heartbreaking too. Eowyn was heartbroken but still managed to fight in a battle! No one should slag her!!!
