  • what's the difference between ga and ka, does it sound the same?

  • @nanycolmcr A. If it is not easy to find differences between g (of GA) and K of (KA) sound, don’t worry about it. Many listeners have had the same problem. Other languages such as English don’t have significant difference between those two consonants. If you know some Spanish words, consider double consonants as Spanish consonants. It has more stress than English. For example, single consonant ㄱ sounds like G of Green, and double consonants ㄲ sounds like C of Commo (in spanish).

  • I'm learning this for Super Junior o.o

  • @nanycolmcr All the Korean syllables are different. From what I learned in Yonsei University in Korea, when you put a hand in front of your mouth and say 가 (ga) you can feel a breath come out. If you say 까 (gga) you don't feel a breath come out and it is shortened. 카 is ka and any other korean syllable with double consonants works the same way (breath for singles and no breath for double consonants).

  • @BlackRoseDragon14 those are the same type its just ㅓ ㅏ ㅗ ㄹ ㄴ are some symbols by themself, 아 나 다 가 are one vowel and one constant ,and 극 훌 넛 츞 망 are a constanant a vowel and another consonant :)
