'Le lion blanc' est un lutteur de lutte canarienne. Une lutte nord-africaine millénaire d'origine amazighe (berbère). Juan est canarien, insulaire. Les Îles Canaries sont aussi territoire africain comme le Sénégal (mais insulaire, comme l'archipel cap-verdien) bien qu'elles soient européenne politiquement.
