Stage 7 Boss: Molecule, Particle & Isotope

Damn bouncing robots! This boss fight is not that hard, but not that easy either. Normally you fight Molecule and Particle, but in Hardest Isotope invites himself in. These robots have a pretty large move set ranging from a Laser Shot, an Electric Barrier (usually done when you hold them for too long), several Spiked Chain stikes and last, the annoying Self Destruct. A really beefy combo can be pulled off on these guys (though normally gets interupted by an other if your not careful) Perhaps I will post that later.

This was played on "Hardest" mode.

Having looked again u handle axel pretty dam well; max is the best though. Anyone see that speed run that was on here a few years ago? Only got hit twice in the whole game on mania...

Well we all make mistakes. I often like to catch the robots in a long combo (did it in an earlier video I recorded, but the sound was laggy so I had to delete it :/). I guess a good example of it would be at :29 to :35, except that I messed it up by jumping too early so I ended up grabbing the enemy.

Also that speed run sounds mad awesome, I would love to see it. Im pretty decent with Max, but definitely not to a "get hit only twice on mania" kind of level. How did the player handle the Jets?

Does anyone else find it funny that when the robots hit Axel, it makes a metal clang but then when he hits them, it sounds like a slap lo.

Surely it should be the other way around!

ok, i used to play this game when I was 6, and I have a memory of, instead of defeating the robots, i defeated another axel, with a purple bandana. is it possible, or did i dream i? this has been bugging me for a long time...

This and 'rock and roll racing' were my two favs when i had my genesis around 15 or 16 years ago. I loved the soundtrack on here especially the ending credits and some other rounds.

I enjoyed this so much more than anything on my ps3 (gta iv, mw2, battlefield, red dead ...)
