i see you pool is indoor and if you have the number 5.0ppm im very sure is to hight.
(- for indoors pool is ideal 1.0 to 1.5 and maximun to 3.0ppm........
(-for outdoors maximun 4.0ppm......
but you have to know how is the FC OR CC.
but remenber the PH...

You're right Taylor. It's good to see someone who knows about pools. He also didn't swirl before adding the Reagents which may give a false reading.

that tells you Total Chlorine but you have no idea of FC or CC. You also do not know your CYA level so how do you know it is ample supply of chlorine?
