Also the elastic thing although great idea, but its going to ruin the comic physically and its value.

Don't stack the comics it can cause a spine roll even with them being back boarded, if u haven't already get comic boxes

I also prefer DC as well. My favourite DC comics so far out of the new 52 are Animal Man, Batman, Batwoman, and Action Comics. I don't really like detective comics though.

i only have 8 and so far spiderman is the best!!!

currently i only have one long box, and a handful of cardboard boxes that hold the rest. i want to get another box, maybe not a long box since its rather hard to move around and stuff, so that i can organize it the way i want it to be. now it's kinda all willy nilly around everywhere xD
the way i want it to be organized is one box for DC, one for Marvel, and one for the rest. maybe even another for Batman when i get that many (he's my favorite). then organize them alphabetically by title

Nice Collection man :) check out mine

@Darkknight2149 hey dark, it's a bad idea to keep them in a filing cabinet. again, like my comment on the video in general, mad spine-curl. you don't want that. i recommend comic boxes. they're specifically designed to keep them pristine. take your books out of that filing cabinet and put them in a comic box. bad juju, bro.

@parkerclone wow, dude. i wish i had 10k+. i have about 105 comics and i find THOSE hard to manage. i just want to be able to spend a week at a time organizing my collection. it would give me an excuse to stay inside. my friends are always like, "why don't you go outside?" i'm sitting here like, "... but... comics..." lmfaooo

Would you recommend mixing in trades with comics in a long box?
Do you re-seal your comics after you read them???

@L0TRFTW re-seal? Like put them back in the bag and boards? yeah, why wouldn't I?

I usually just buy the collected editions and put them on a bookshelf; single issues are a little too flimsy for my tastes, and like you, I also have more DC comics than Marvel. It just so happens that the best thing I've read lately was volume one of the Daredevil Ultimate collection, which was written by Bendis, and I'd even recommend it over Frank Miller's legendary run. Considering how much you like Batman (and who doesn't?), DD would be a smooth transition for you.

@TheIndigoEffect I actually DO like Daredevil. And Captain America and Moon Knight because they're all Batman-inspired :P
But none of those guys have the supporting cast, and extensive backstory that the Batman comics do :/ When I get a job, I'll get back into Marvel most likely

omg!! do you have a poster of Jim Lee? *o*
I was talking about some guy that worked at the comic store nearby - he said that they stop printing batman posters anymore (i'm not talking about from the movies; just the comics - the good stuff). is this true??? > n <;;;
GOD I wish they would sell cool posters like those promotional posters for batman!! they're so awesome! *o* I'd just die to get my hands on those.

@yoosulove Hmmm... I don't know. I got mine from a comic store in Edmonton (Canadian city) and there was a ton of DC ones.
Oh, and YES I have a Jim Lee Batman poster ;P
