I have to say something about the VA not having enough Drs to treat the soldiers. Well, WAKE UP AMERICA! The military are serving our country. They should be able to get treatment anywhere they can. They go to the VA because it is paid for by the military. They should be given free medical care no matter where they go. They protect us, it's time for us to protect them!
This is the first video if have seen on this series. I was interested in the torture of Americans by the north Viet name and wanted to find out how N. Vietnam got away with torturing Americans. I guess I would like to know how the American government forced the narrator of the slide show to smile next to a dead body. And I'm not so sure this is really torture. Though I will keep an open mind as to war atrocities. But why is this one sided. Why is there not torture shown by all sides?
I did 3 tours in Nam, didnt rape anybody. Understood that Thou Shalt Not Kill means Murder not killing in general. Dude that came home with authority problems went to Nam with them. Put on your big boy pants and deal with it. Obviously war is not fun, except to the smiling moron who "testified."
Uncle Ho was a student of American history, esp. of our revolution & the lives of the Founding Fathers. Ho often quoted Thomas Jefferson from memory. Read L.B.J.'s "The Vantage Point." In it is a letter from Ho Chi Minh pleading with Johnson to stop bombing civilians. Did 3 million Vietnamese, the majority of which were noncombatants, commit suicide? Vietnam was a playground for the U.N. & commie Russia & China to prosecute total war.
There is a marked difference between "soldiers" and "warriors".
"Soldiers" are point-and-fire attachments to weapons. They question nothing. They just serve the plutocrats. They are somewhat innocent, never having really thought.
Most of THESE Winter Soldiers have discovered their role as "warriors"; that is, they look beyond the thrill of the kill to serving all mankind. They continue the fight into their every day lives: the 10 Commandments, the US Constitution. Respect for life.
I wish Amy Goodwin was a Viet Nam veteran because she would not believe this crap. I don't believe she would be here unless a veteran died for her employment. Kinda like the flies on the garbage heaps.
