Former Ambassador Terry Miller, director the Center for International Trade and Economics at The Heritage Foundation, discusses how more economic freedom leads to better economic performance.
For countries that already have strong, competitive economies, economic freedom is desirable. But the relationship between economic freedom and prosperity is not as direct as the video says and is not valid for every country. The countries of the BRIC group are among the least "free" in the world and are growing steadly.
You mean like not subsidizing poverty while enslaving whole cultures to government dependence, a victim/government-owes-me mentality, and the general economic and social horrors that Marx and Mao have bequeathed to the world?
If you had any education, and thus would not rely on mindless dogmatism, you would realize that I am far from being a fascist, as I am against any form statism, be it from the left or right.
I couldn't agree more! I argue these points continuously! True Free Trade is much different than Free Trade Agreements! Too bad they give people the wrong idea convincing more people to build up an even bigger government! I also believe that we are not the black race and the white race and the mexican race.......We are the Human Race! I know that competition with foreigners will benefit both parties as long as it is done without government coercion and force!
The only way to have a moral and true competition in the global markets is through True Free Trade. At the moment only the rich and ultra-rich benefit from Free Trade. I want True Free Trade that allows ALL CAPITAL RESOURCES to cross borders freely. At the moment only only the raw materials and value added products can cross. If you want true competition then Human Capital has to be able to move freely as the goods and services do. I'm not afraid to compete with foreigners at all. Are you?
Very important you read! Don't just vote, vote with a cause.....otherwise, stay at home and enjoy the day. It would be better than voting for one of these two war, loss of liberties, high tax candidates! Instead vote for libertarian Bob Barr and make your voice heard! Barr will be on all 50 state ballots and write-in votes are thrown away!
