At the Tokyo Motor Show 2007, Honda exhibited the Inspire Prototype as a soon-to-be-commercially-available vehicle.

The upper mid-class sedan is powered by a 3.5-liter V6 engine with Honda's proprietary variable cylinder management (VCM) system that delivers tremendous power.

The current VCM system switches the number of active cylinders between 6 and 3, but the new system varies between 6, 4 and 3 active cylinders, ensuring optimum performance in response to running conditions.

The new VCM system enables the 3.5-liter engine to use all necessary power while also improving fuel economy.

The Inspire Prototype has the exterior styling that suggests a sporty drive while retaining an air of dignity that appeals to adult drivers.

The car pursues complete comfort in its interior design, allowing the driver to enjoy a high-quality feeling along with its functional beauty.

  • i have the 2008 6 cylinder VCM, and i am not totally satisfied when it comes to the CAr's stability and its insulation, i found such a huge pressure coming from the windows and so are all the other owners of the same car here in Dubai. other than that, the car is just FINE!! but when it comes to highways,, it is not that efficient!!

  • It's funny that the latest Inspire is our North America Accord. Cause with the previous generation Inspire was in fact the Acura 3.2TL here in North America. Now with the latest TL and the second last gen was purely designed by the American Honda division. I'd just wish they could gone back to the Japan design house instead..... cause honestly the latest TL wasn't really my cup of tea. Hope Honda reconsider this when they do the next gen TL

  • This looks like a 3 Series competitor.

  • leave the foot brake

  • The Inspire has been a classic Honda vehicle for over 10 years. This newest model is the best model.

  • This need to be PIMPED by me!!!

  • I've gotta get me one of these when it releases. The interior is stunning.
