AT&T Strengthens 3G Wireless Coverage in New York and New Jersey Areas

Seth and an AT&T network engineer overview the substantial strengthening of AT&Ts 3G mobile broadband wireless network in large portions of metro New York City, Long Island and New Jersey, where it has deployed spectrum in the 850 MHz band. As a result, customers in these areas should experience better connectivity, performance and enhanced in-building wireless coverage.

@talwinder01 ATT rocks here in Atlanta, in over 5 years i have been with them here in atlanta, i have never had a dropped call nor neither a slow speed on my iphone 4. New York is so disrupted and crappy for cell service since there is so many buildings. ATT rocks so much in da ATL. Speeds never slow down..... Everything always gets better :) sorry about new york, but att is da best

January 27, 2011 AT&T the biggest Telecom company said it added 2.8 million subscribers on a net basis, for a total of 95.5 million. That puts the company above Verizon Communications (VZ), which added just 955,000 subs, it said Monday, to end up with 94 million. The company said it was its best quarter ever for net subscriber additions. AT&T now number one wireless company.

AT& T sucks, I can't believe that they provide such a bad service. I just swicthed to At&T 2 weeks ago because of IPhone and i have experinced more than 30 drop calls in NJ/NY area. Some areas there is no services. Sucs - I'm returning their product and staying with my current provider.

at&t still has spotty 3G coverage but it's reasonably fast when there is a connection.

@EricEatonTV I agree, I live in a small town (30k) but we get a lot of tourists and college students, and still no 3G (with any provider).
