Therefore, his holiness has no say or influence over people in Burma. I'm sure geographically you know that Tibet and Burma are far apart and the culture and everything is vastly different as well. I hope you can remove the hatred from your heart and focus instead on how you can help these people suffering in Burma.

His Holiness although a renowned spiritual world leader, is not The Head of Buddhism. He is the spiritual leader of Tibet where the type of Buddhism practiced is called Mahayana as opposed to the Theravada buddhism practiced in Burma.

Secondly, before you jot down remarks on a public forum esp. on another group of people or culture, it is ALWAYS good to ask questions or do research rather than sounding like an ignorant fool or making unintelligent remarks. Just like how there are different sects of Islam, there is also different sects in Buddhism.

Unfortunately, the Rohingyas are neither wanted in Burma or by their fellow muslims in Bangladesh and hence the ethnic violence WHICH by the way is perpatrated by both Muslims and Buddhists.

irstly Khan it's good to know that you have concern and care for your fellow Muslims. However, before you hurt the sentiments of thousands of people, it's good to do a little research beforehand. The ethnic violence is Burma has to do more with territorial rights than anything. The Rohingyas share common identities with Bangladesh, the neighboring country which is a muslim country.

well buddhism is technically not a religion. its a form of spirituality aka a way of living. its by text book definition similar to atheism. hence, its more logical in belief. buddha was an atheist.
