Following the demise of the Yardbirds, Keith Relf and Jim McCarty went on to do some recordings under the name "Together" before evolving into "Renaissance"... This track, however, was recorded during Summer '68, just under the name 'Relf/McCarty' and was taken from a rare acetate disc in order to be released on the Yardbirds double CD "Little Games Sessions & More"... (...hence, the bad quality of the audio track!)

PS: I dedicate this clip to Carolina! ;-)

  • Jim McC., I can't tell you how much I love this song, as well as "Together Now", "Henry's Coming Home" & "Love Mum and Dad"... I apologize if you've been asked before, but is there any chance there's more "Together" songs left in the vault, and if so, will we ever get to hear them?? Thanks, and take care!! Dan in Buffalo, NY

  • @traveldan2000 Hi- I`m afraid those three tracks were the sum total of the Together tracks! Sorry about that.

  • @traveldan2000 There's also "Try Believing", on the Renaissance album "Live + Direct".

  • @RenaissancePrologue And "Far Away People" + "Leaves" amongst the lost recordings!

  • PLEASE! make this video EMBED so i can put in my facebook!

  • @slutypet OK, then!... Just for you! ;-)

  • A stunning musical masterpiece!. Sums up the atmosphere and more laid back times of the 60's & 70's. Musical poetry.

  • At first, i thought Clapton was cool for leaving because they were going more pop. Now I'm thinking if i was him i would follow Keith Relf a little longer. Clapton just ended up playing crappy blues through the seventies and so on. Relf made much good music and Eric made much crappy music.

  • touching song..have chills on me arms and in my head

  • @JimMcCartyandCo thanks :P

  • @smcowboy It was his wife, April at the time!...
