MM Lee Kuan Yew called Dr Chee Soon Juan a "near psychopath". PAP-controlled newsprint Straits Times editor Chua Mui Hoong jumped onto the Chee-bashing bandwagon and wrote in her column that Dr Chee is suffering from "antisocial personality disorder". Their remarks has drawn condemnation from the public and professionals in the psychiatry field. Is Dr Chee really a psychopath? Or is he a freedom fighter that brings fear to the PAP?

  • looking at some comments here like "I wouldn't want to be associated with him" and "He is the reason why SDP fail" just show how deeply the mainsteam media's portrayal of CSJ is ingrained in some people.. saddening indeed.

  • cmon peeps, we all know that csj is just there to discredit the opposition

  • PAP - PatheticArrogantPsychopath

  • He's very courages, unlike many hypocrites that are been found within the PAP organisation.Singapore future road = slave or freedom. Therefore Chee soon juan and his party are our key to freedom.Vote for SDP.

  • Don't need to be so extreme.... He's too over. The weirdest politician.

  • The psychopath is Lee Kuan Yew. Cruel without moral compass and conscience and an exaggerated sense of self grandiose. A megalomaniac which in reality a lowlife scum. That is Lee Kuan Yew.

  • ya know ,here in the states he'd just be a normal man voicing his opinion of his country, why do they think hes crazy?

  • CSJ is a hero. Yeah, Singapore is perfect --no jury trials. The idiots bought into the USSA's drug prohibition even though they get nothing from it, except slavery. The poor women the cartels use as drug mules get sentenced to death (because there's no jury trial there, to at least weaken the ugliness of the immoral and stupid prohibition), and the fat rich cartelists created by the prohibition laugh. You have to be an idiot to believe a government without jury trials is perfect.

  • Btw, try posting a negative comment on CSJ's moderated videos and you'll see that he censors them. This is the same person that preaches democracy & freedom?!! SDP has a long way to go to win the middle ground and they can start by not behaving like angry old men with an axe to grind!

  • CSJ pontificates about democracy but this same democracy has NOT elected him or his colleagues and until he earns that right, he cannot speak on behalf of SIngaporeans. In fact, all he's done is whimper and moan to outsiders about a climate of fear and surpression. If that were really true TODAY, Low TK et al would be in jail. Aside from racial/religious commentary, we Sporeans can now speak our mind. Chiam may have lost but you won't see him moaning about freedom or the lack thereof

Unfortunately, most Singaporeans will give up proportional representation and all types of freedom for the peace and stability that they have. Not many will rock the boat, better the devil you know and all that. Freedom of speech and civil liberties aren't the priority for many Singaporeans, as long as they have a strong leader who will tell them what to do and when, they will be quite happy. Hence the ST rhetoric that you get from most.

  • Brave man with integrity - unlike most Singaporeans
