****THESE CLIPS CONTAIN STRONG LANGUAGE****
Carla's Song, A 1996 Ken Loach film starring Robert Carlyle as a Glasgow bus driver who befriends a Nicaraguan woman. For the role Robert Carlyle took lessons in driving a bus and passed his test in only a few days. For bus enthusiasts the star is Leyland Atlantean LA1218 of the then Strathclyde's Buses fleet. During filming stickers were placed over the "Strathclyde's Buses" fleetnames, these remained on the bus for some time afterwards. Also the driver's 'bandit' screen, which prevents physical attack from any violent passengers was removed. This video shows only the scenes of the film which involve LA1218.
