I use my iPod a lot for videos. Same set up as the I phone. Good for short videos. You can down load a free app called splice. Edit clips on the phone and send direct to YT. No computer needed. Just wi fi.

Dude, you're right next to your house. Use wifi. If it doesn't reach, get a wifi extender or wifi repeater. Some routers can be used as a repeater. So you buy a second router and now you have extra lan ports remotely + extended wifi.
