So here's the million dollar question- if this mistranslations have been recognized and identified, and any bibilcal scholar worth his/her salt could point them out- why hasn't the bible been revised to have words that accurately represent the originally intended meaning? It seems that the majority of modern Christians are quite happy to cite and believe the book as it, and it's that translation that's being believed, and therefore what's being criticized.

@ImmortalEye666 Its love thy neighbor. And what I said is true. Your right, there is bad stuff in this world, stuff so bad that it can't possibly be man alone, it's got to be Satan doing it. And he's very good at his job, unfortunately...anyways, I respect your opinions and thoughts, honestly I do, but in the end, only one of us will be right. if you're right, then my opinions were pointless, and vice versa. I respect you, but you should focus on facts rather than opinions.

@ImmortalEye666 um, sorry i know this isn't my conversation, but you have to be a religious person to ask that question. to assume that there is evil in this world is to assume that there is a universal moral law. to assume that there is a universal moral law is to assume that there is a universal moral law giver, so the entire question self destructs.
