On a trip to Tanzania in July of 2008, I took many photos of animals from the foothills of Mt. Kilimanjaro to the Serengeti. This video shows some of those pictures plus a few taken by fellow travelers as indicated. A couple of the most interesting sights were the hippos floating on their backs in a pool in the Ngorongora Crater and the pregnant elephant where her baby is visible on her side. Tanzania is one of the best countries to visit for a photo safari. Traveling with OAT is great learning experience. Try www.oat.com. Enjoy!

  • Finally had an opportunity to view the entire video, you did a great job. I cannot take credit for the flamingos in the air. Deb took those pictures. When you go to Italy, youll have to put your picture on You Tube. Id love to see them.

  • Just added a new video, Tulips of Skagit Valley by Travelingrandma. Have a look.

  • Is this the same video as the DVD you made? I still havent seen the DVD. When are you planning this Italy trip ypu speak of?? Ive always wanted to see Italy! Oh and if you havent figured it out by now this is your oldest grandson(the sexy one).

  • Not the same video. This one has just animals, the other has animals, people and the whole trip. Hope to go to Italy in Sept with a friend I met on Tanzania trip. Love you. Grandma

  • Great sunsets. Didn't know hippos liked to be on their backs. What camera are you using now?

  • Hi Skye1er, Yes, still traveling. Hope to go to Italy this summer. I got two new cameras for the trip a Fujifilm Finepix F-50 12mp for people and closeups and a Pentax K-10 SLR Digital 10mp with a 50/200 lens for distance. I am very happy with both cameras. Hope you are still traveling too and enjoying taking pictures of wildflowers all over the world. Thanks for the positive feedback.

  • Glad to know you are still traveling and taking great pictures. You got your money's worth on this trip. Almost looks as if the animal posed for you.
