I'm an ex Infantry soldier in the CF and to be honest I really don't mind that these people put derogatory comments all over youtube let them think all they want about us. But when shit hits the fan we are the ones going where even the U.S don't want to go who really cares what everyone thinks about the CF let them think what they want its not a bad thing to be under estimated we are one of the best trained and most composed forces in the world you can believe it or not but I'm telling the truth

@v9vREBORN I am saying that there is no reason to go to war at all unless the absolute safety of the population depends on it. I do not believe that this has been the case in Afghanistan, Iraq and Libya. You have kidded yourself into believing that out government is decent and intrested in human rights (why arent we in Africa?) when it is them who is in it for their own interests. As an experiment why dont you list reasons why we should be in those wars now and we can research their validity...

@v9vREBORN We should hold ourselves to a higher moral standard than the US, UK and Israel who act out of fear and attack entire cultures of people which result in further hate. We should get out of every foreign country and focus on ourselves through education, social programs and homeland security. The missions in Libya and Afghanistan are of no use to Canadian people. You are so afraid that you support any war the government wants. The blood of civilian casualties and children is on your hands

@v9vREBORN But some points of view are better than others, what I see on these posts here is a point of view based on fear, hatred and ignorance under the name of protecting canada. I don't think that you fully realize exactly how much is spend on military each year. We have people living on the streets without jobs and low quality schools with no funding. It all comes down to if you really believe we are in danger of "terrorist attacks" really questions this fear, is it rational?

@v9vREBORN I have tried my best to show you that the opinion you hold has been created through watching only one source of media and basically listening to everything that you have been told by the government. These ideas of "we have to stay in it at this point" and "they will kill us if we dont stop killing them", all in the guise of supporting the troops are exactly what the government wants. You need to seek answers from all sources, go watch al jazeera or RT, educate youself from all sides!

@v9vREBORN 1. We have human rights issues here that need to be resolved first before be even bother with another nations 2. There was just a documentary on this and the "girls schools" are few and far between and mostly in country areas where they are not even needed. As I already said, humanitarian efforts were never the real reason we went to war they are just the decoy to trick people on board. So, why don't we just end all involvement in other countries all together and focus on Canada?

@v9vREBORN It doesn't always have to be about "taking them out" you have obviously chosen to live a life of fear and as a result you promote the need for a stronger military to keep you safe. This is exactly what the government in power wants; to convince the people that these wars are necessary so that they can profit form them. Canada is an amazing multicultural civilization unlike any other and we need to work on improving it but these wars are only wasting human life and accomplish nothing.
