for me it's still stuck on "Plug in your Iphone 4s to begin" I don't know why. and how can I backup my deivce? (Is that the problem?)

I've never jail broken any of my devices or seen any. It would be really cool of you could do a video just to tell a little about it or what's the pros and cons. Is it reversible? Is it better than the regular iPhone software?
