Even so, perfect pitch or even absolute pitch doesn't mean hearing it once means you can play it perfectly!? He's blind too, seriously how is he even doing this? It's unbelievable and completely sensational. This man would give Jesus a run for his money playing Piano!

Push ups and piano at the same time! like a boss!

10 notes, no, way more than 10. watch the video of him with the orchestra where they play MANY notes, and Derek picks up every one, not in blunt chords, but using many keys. It's just amazing. So is his Rudolf the red-nosed reindeer ;)

He's been referred to as superhuman ;) i love derek.

He is so fucking cool.

He doesn't have perfect pitch. He has absolute pitch. Being able to hear every note in a chord with 10 notes.
Incredible. I love how he adds his own flavour to it, and the fact you can really see he's loving it

in the last concert i attended last week. Derek was playing with an orchestra and he was reluctant to leave. :-) after 3 songs (it seems that he was supposed to only play 1), Adam Ackleford must have told him that it would be the last one. Derek then said that he would be playing "the bumblebee song" and play it fast. :-) if you can imagine this song can be played twice as fast!
