When I was on holiday in Cyprus this year I recorded the drive. I recorded it using my digital camera which is the reason theres no sound

My family are Kyrenians who lost properties in 1974. I have also met Turks who lost their properties in the South. They are all refugees! Greek Cypriots and Turkish Cypriots live side by side in peace in London yet cannot do the same in their own land. If Turkish troops and settlers left the island, Cypriots could co-exist as citizens of Europe with all the rights that membership guarantees?

We most certainly can agree on that at least. One day CYPRIOTS may see that beauty, not mine and yours, but ours!

@geon106 I too have done this route when I was on holiday last year. What a beautiful drive! Cyprus is an amazing country. We drove around Cyprus every day for two weeks and seen lots of amazing things. I'd love to go back again. Lets hope peace will reign there someday. I love Turks and Greeks and have found them both to be beautiful, hospitable people. Lets hope that their differences can be resolved. I am half-Greek myself but live in England. Peace and love to Turks & Greeks everywhere.

I thank you for filming that ride! I used to travel that route every day to school from Kyrenia to Nicosia when I was a child. I am glad you enjoyed your vacation there and I hope you got to visit the WHOLE island! We should all hope for peace for this beautiful island. No religious differences or political differences, JUST PEACE!! Childrens laughter sounds the same on both sides of the green line!!

:) your welcome. I didn't take that video to cause a stir between turks and greeks. As no matter what the situation is, surely we can agree Cyprus is a beautiful island?
