Did you miss me?

Yes, I was away last week, touring the Netherlands, and this is the first installement of my six-part adventure.

's-Hertogenbosch, better known as simply "Den Bosch", is the birthplace of Hieronymus Bosch and the site of one of the Netherlands' finest cathedrals. This video also features a gratuitous windmill.

sehr gut gemacht, ich weiß zwar nicht was dein ziel ist, so für die allgemeinheit doch sehr anschaulich aber wenn du seriöser rüberkommen willst, solltest du die eigene meinung rausschneiden, ansonsten erinnert micih das video an die dokuserien die meine eltern immer geschaut haben als ich noch klein war ;D

Also, das hier soll kein Vortrag sein, sondern ein persönlicher Reisebericht. Insofern ist die persönliche Meinung, finde ich, durchaus angebracht, auch wenn da noch ein paar Zahlen und Fakten dabei sind.

Sehr interessantes Video mal wieder. Ich war selber vor einigen Jahren in den Niederlanden und habe von Haarlingen aus einen Segelturn zu den vielen Inseln im nördlichen Friesland unternommen. Ein Erlebnis, das ich nie vergessen werde ;).

Kleiner Tip noch: Kennst du schon den digitalen Bildstabilisator von Video Deluxe? Damit solltest du die Bilder ruhig bekommen ;).

Ich habe den Bildstabilisator ausprobiert. Es dauert ewig, und die Ergebnisse sind bescheiden: man erhält nie ein halbwegs ruhiges Bild (außer natürlich, man schleppt ein Stativ mit sich rum). Außerdem wird das Bild leicht vergrößert, was wiederum zu einem Qualitätsverlust führt.

After 789 I flew to meet my friend near London and on my return trip to the European mainland I flew into Amsterdam. I saw the Rijks and VanGogh Museums and then I took a train trip across the Northern Netherlands until I literally reached "The end of the line" in NieuWeschans. (just across the border from Leer Ost-Friesland)There are many Windmills in Ost-friesland too. I love how dutch buildings all have the "hook" to hoist furniture. Because the stairways are not wide enough and very steep.

1:56 ... really ugly building ... but this town has also some nice historic houses. Where are all these insane people on their bicycle?

Ah ok, should wait until 4:00 ... hehe ... these modern thingies also look interesting. Would like to try them but I guess it is not helping me to get into a better shape, haha.
