And you bring up the extension cord thing, well I work at a place where we regularly have musicians coming in with their set-ups who get pissed because they didn't bring a power cord and we don't loan them out because they get stolen that way and it is their job. So they don't get to use their pedals they spent so much money on. People go "oh that's stupid why would he even bother?" but people seem to think that implied means you shouldn't say it. But it still should obviously be said.

why bother using the power supply that the company makes? you'll make your bills get higher and the amount of money you'd spend would be retarted

@cosmicseed I think the company is visual sound but they make an adapter called one spot that will power a lot of different pedals and only takes up "one spot" on the power strip. It may not do some of the pedals that need bigger than a 9 vac power supply.
