http://www.ntv.co.ke President Mwai Kibaki is outraged over the theft of funds allocated for free primary education. Sources tell ntv that Mwai Kibaki, who implemented free primamry education when he came into power in 2002, wants senior government officials in the ministry of education to explain the theft. So far several junior officials have been suspended. And as Robert Nagila reports senior government officials in the education and Tresury ministries may soon discover this is one matter the president will not let go.

  • what is the relevance of the video 2:16-2:26? We don't need to see the west to make us imagine they live in heaven and they are also suffering like us

  • And the NTV journalist says "The good news"... really?? NTV should pull up their socks really.

  • And why were KENYAN JOURNALISTS not bringing this up in September? Why did they have to wait for a MZUNGU before asking the very questions you ask? Why are they not pursuing the questioning of officials?? Thank you NTV but you need to do more... much more!!

  • What I'm wondering always is that whenever funds disappear, the deputy PM is always on the fore front. At last the funds go like that with culprits/suspects enjoying. Can't we have a change of governance in this country? Will impunity ever end????

  • This y Raila shd have been the president. He wd have fired the thieves. Kibaki's hands free-style of leadership cannot work. Kenya is too corrupt. Kenyans should vote in 'pple whose ideas are relevant today and not thieves.

  • Where have you been, bwana Kibaki? This was discovered in September and all you can say is a weak one-line statement that even you know is not effective. And Why hasn't Prof Sam Ongeri addressed the issue at all?

  • Those school kids shouldnt be eating that chalk dust. It's high time the teachers used markers and white boards instead of those chemical ladden respiratory killers.

  • 2:10

No one senior has ever been prosecuted in Kenya for corruption .- incompetence and negligence .

  • This is outrageous...no one will be prosecuted by the government of Kenya! It is highly incompetent!!!!
