Ciffra shows us here secondary melodies in the left hand which other pianists don t take attention to, he was looking for new ways of interpretations and did manage quite well..... He brings out the sense of the text. He sees it as a drama and a story to tell us and knows the structure and knows where are the dramatic moments . Its no more an etude but a story told us by a very good actor....

I really like how these great masters bring out all levels of the harmony in the piece, so that the left and right hand really mingle artistically, rather than in some master-slave form.

He is not afraid of breaking the rules to make it alive. With that kind of sensitivity he can't reach everybodys heart in cold times like we have today.
Cziffra is a genius. We all can see the centre of the target after his hits. A talent strikes the targets wich we all have known before. Thats the difference. Thanks to everybody who made Cziffra possible and that he was born in times of recording.
