After the flood God told Noah that we could eat if ALL of the beasts.

Under Moses, there were extra "carnal ordinances" such as not eating of certain beasts, you had to follow diverse washings obey the sabbath, etc.

Hey, being saved by Grace doesn't change an abomination into being acceptable or even mean that getting a tattoo is perfectly ok.
