  • I understand your point of view. Well at least one of the filmmakers wrote to me thanking us for bringing out some aspects of the film that has been under-appreciated (such as how much of the story was constructed in the editing process). That message alone was worth the effort of making this video.

  • The voice over speakers are over intellectualizing and apparently enjoy hearing themselves speak. Shut the hell up. They were just two eccentrics that enjoyed life in their own way and it was beatifully captured in this film. It does not require explaination or interpretation. Make on documentary and then comment on that. Idiots.

  • I'm sorry that you have this response to the video. I've received emails and other comments that have expressed appreciation for the video. Some have even referred to it for educational use in schools to help students understand the film. I hope that you can see the value it may have for others. Thanks for watching.

  • @pearldrop2 I'm with you. Little Edie finally had a receptive ear for the story of her life and so she told it and explored it while the cameras were in the house. Like anyone who doesn't have a lot of company you bring out the photos and memorabilia. Quit trying to make out that they are that dif. to anyone else. You have enough religious sickos in the US.

  • Good narrative. The comments were thoughtful and insightful. Thank you.

  • I loved the commentary because I cannot get enough of these women. I feed on all things Beale. It's sad how Little Edie never feels whole because she doesn't have a husband. I think she's wonderful just as she is.

  • The fact that all they see is themselves every event every year.Major personality disorders

  • Who's the other guy in this discussion? Why isn't he credited?

  • Oh my God, this is soooo over analysed. The young one is very sexy and glamorous.

  • I am totally obsessed about them too...amazing story...I cant get enough...

  • I love both documentaries and the new film. I can't get enough of the Beale's story. The new book on Little Edie's life 'Edith Bouvier Beale: A life in pictures' is fabulous.

  • Can you still watch the Grey Gardens documentary on youtube?
