NEW AMV INTRO, YO!

This didn't turn out as well as it did in my head, but it seems to have become an unspoken tradition of mine to make a new AMV intro every time I reach a Subscriber landmark. I hit 200 last week, so here ya go. And, yes, I will be making a celebratory AMV as soon as Finals week is no longer looming over my head.

You may have noticed (or at least I hope you did) that there are relatively few TMM clips in this. Well, there's a good reason for that.

I started this account making TMM AMVs, over two and a half years ago.

I love TMM, don't get me wrong, but I'm slowly getting less and less interested in it. I feel like I've done it all AMV-wise, I'm constantly pushing myself to make TMM AMVs and the result is never something I'm satisfied with.

The bottom line is this: I'll wrap up the requests I have for TMM AMVs, and I'll move on to different stuff.

This isn't to say I'll quit TMM completely, I may very well make an occasional TMM AMV, and I may come crawling back to the fandom after I've stretched my wings a little. But for the time being, I'm squeezed dry and I want a break from magical neko girls.

I realize this is a bold move that may cost me a few subscribers, which is why I'm saying it here and now so you officially can't say I didn't give any warning.

That being said, what the new intro DOES feature is a couple animes I'd like to make AMVs out of in the future, namely Yu Yu Hakusho and Romeo X Juliet. The Monster Rancher clips are there more for the nostalgia than anything (MR being the first anime I ever watched), but I am considering an MR AMV or two. And yes, I'll be sticking to my Lion King work.
