This is what kids should be learning in basic science class in school vs. worthless crap. The vapor cloud that you see around the aircraft is not the aircraft breaking the sound barrier... it just a vapor cloud caused by pressure and rapidly condensing air (although typical of an aircraft approaching the speed of sound OR an aircraft flying at high airspeed + high angle of attack.
It's just sad that people think they've experienced a sonic boom when they've actually only seen the vapor cone.
