transmission only gets the power to the wheels, it comes down to power to weight ratio.. the fastest race cars are auto, downshifting a true race car spins you out

I have time papers too. Both my brothers have a gsr (1998 4 door gsr) and a 1999 SI.. My 1/8 AND 0-60 IS FASTER THEN theres......I can fax my time slip over if you want.......But my 3rd gear lags because it was a automatic....Stock coupe manual dx and ex run high 15s and low 16s......mines was an auto..16.7..

I have a 1995 Honda civic DX Coupe. It is a DX. 107 horsepower. not the ex 127.. I ran a 16.7 Stock at Rockfall raceway, meanwhile Acura Integra GSR (b18C1-170 HP) runs 16.4 and 16.5 and aCURA iNTEGRA LS (17.1-17.2) ALL DAY. tHEY LOOKED AT MY CAR and was surprised that it was an Automatic and i laughed at them lol.....I am able to pull Gsr and 1999-2000 civic si from the start until 75 or 80 miles per hour on the street.

ya the 5th Gen coupes are alot lighter than my 4dr was. I had no problem staying with 5spd coupes on the street
