The idea is to BLEND and work with local law enforcement and have a clean enough background so that you may carry a weapon not a paint ball gun. 99% of our captures, the suspect didnt know what happened until after he was handcuffed and put in a vehicle. Somtimes we had lights, sometimes we just boxed them in. We had jackets that ID'd who we were. Believe me they knew what was going on. We did have air horns. This also is really not a traffice stop, he wasnt being stopped for a traffic violation he was being stopped for a warrant. You also have to realize this was about 13 years ago, the laws were much different. We also worked with the federal agencies and shared information constantly.
