Coldplay ran into the middle of the crowd to perform and if I am not mistaken Shearwater did not even mention who they were until the third song. Like I said Shearwater can rock but there is something about the way he sings that gets under my skin. I could not understand one word. The guy can not sing worth a shit and tries to cover it up with these out of whack notes. He was all over the place. The local band that opened before them was 10 times better.

I completely disagree. I think he has a beautiful voice. He is very expressive and original. It is very different than Chris Martin and Coldplay's style, so if you went to hear that I can understand why you would be disappointed.

Haha, I was disappointed to hear that they'd be touring with Coldplay, because I'd rather not fork out a good deal of money to go and see some ridiculously overrated and mediocre band just so that I could see Shearwater too.
