Go to file >open> select your photo. and it will pop up your first picture. Go back to File>open and open your secound file. Now go to file>new>and make a new document with a white background. now go to the button that looks like a ruler in a square called view extras. Check the show guides and show extra's. select all the documents one by one and push that button so all of them have a ruler placed.

i can't mask anything! My mouse stays on the moving tool and whenever i click on the mask button, it makes a weird sound. Help!

As mentioned before, never have your windows maximised in photoshop otherwise it covers the whole screen - btw, thats the picture windows NOT Photoshop application, keep that maximised! Hope that helps
