Documentary following the journey of two injured soldiers: 19-year-old Ranger Andy Allen who, in July 2008, had his right leg blown off and his eyes badly burnt by an improvised explosive device; and 24-year-old Lance Corporal Tom Neathway, who lost three limbs after moving a booby-trapped sandbag.
Unconscious and watched by their families they fight for their lives, but surviving their injuries is just the beginning.

  • @JohnSmithTheSecond - Thank you for posting this in full, very much appreciated. The courage and determination these men have shown renews my pride in Britain, and reaffirms my pride in our Armed Forces. Tom and Andy - an incredible well done to the pair of you.

  • @theodora54321 My pleasure! I have plenty more documentaries on my channel of a similar nature, please check them out if you have time!

  • @JohnSmithTheSecond I've had them on all morning as I paint the house, the Wootton Bassett documentary had me attempting to paint whilst sniffling away! Many thanks again.

  • @theodora54321 Well don't let the paint get watered down too much! hehe! Take care!

  • I had to put my eye make-up on twice, watching this. I was SO proud and moved by the character of these men. I'm the type that wells up and tears up when I feel strong emotion. Gosh I'm moved by them. I can't believe Tom doesn't have a girl yet. He's an incredible catch. And I an see why Natalie grabbed Andy...handsome fellow ad obviously a man a woman can make a life with. Best to all.

  • @MsTruNorth Thanks for taking the time to watch, and comment.

  • Thank you for posting. An amazing documentary with extremely brave guys with fantastic attitudes and family. Best of luck to them and their colleagues regardless of their nationality.

  • @JohnSmithTheSecond No words could adequately describe how moved I was watching this presentation. But it wasn't just the rehab these boys went thru, it was their goals to rejoin their mates in their platoon(?) that was so inspiring. It was so educational to see the soldiers from initial trauma to some level of functional independence. Sending strength and continued perserverence them. Would love to find out how they are doing now. Many thanks on your part for putting this out there!

  • Truly amazing, no words to describe. I am so moved by the courage of these men, God bless them and people around them, and may they have brighter future!
